About the role

The Team:

Campbell Town Multi-Purpose Service is a multipurpose facility with 24-hour emergency care, 6 sub-acute beds, 20 residential beds, Community Nursing, palliative care and same day infusion clinic.

Situated in the heart of Tasmania between Launceston and Hobart, within thriving heritage location of Campbell Town; a place renowned for its impressive selection of colonial buildings, masses of antique & specialty shops, all in the heart of the serene, unruffled waters of the Elizabeth River.

The Role:

The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals.  The ANUM plays a vital leadership role in supporting the Nurse Unit Manager with the day-to-day coordination of clinical care and operational activities. Key responsibilities include supervising and mentoring clinical staff, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety, contributing to staff development, and assisting with resource management and shift planning. 

You will need:

  • Demonstrated understanding and clinical experience in emergency, acute care and residential care.
  • Works within the multidisciplinary team to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care based on best practice principles within a collaborative framework. 
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising and supporting nursing staff in a clinical setting

Details of appointment:

Permanent part time, shift worker position, working up to 24 hours per fortnight, commencing from the 4th of November 2025

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $106,570 to $112,440 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

  • Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type
