Move forward as freight forwarder key accounts at DSV in Schiphol

You get it done
Time-critical air freight shipments are in your trusted hands, as you have been organizing various air freight transport for several years. You know your way around all carriers, agencies, and airlines, always a professional seeking the best transport solution for your client portfolio; you contribute to this.

How do you do this? By converting incoming customer requests into the most profitable transport solutions and processing them correctly in our systems. Naturally, you maintain close contact with carriers and keep your customers updated on all developments regarding their air freight shipments. You do everything possible to ensure a fast and efficient transport flow for your customers. You achieve this by:
 

• processing incoming orders (in Cargowise) and converting them into export shipments;
• communicating with airlines and carriers to schedule export shipments;
• monitoring booked shipments and ensuring smooth transport;
• updating customers on current shipments via phone and email;
• keeping track of customer agreements and established KPIs, periodically informing customers of achieved results.

You bring
 

• bachelor’s level of thinking and working; 
• work experience as a freight forwarder, expediter or air freight export employee; 
• a great sense of humor, a motivated work attitude and a sporty personality; 
• proficiency in Dutch spoken and written (B1), with a good command of English.
