Job Summary: 

The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the assigned facility.  The Operations Manager reports directly to the Area Division Manager

 

Responsibilities: 

• Directs the inspection facility operation to ensure maximum quality production.
• Works directly with the customer to ensure open and clear cut communication in regards to the delivery of completed pipe as well as resolving any customer complaints.
• Approves and directs all expenditures, either invoices or timesheets, to ensure expenses are within limits set for the facility and that labor costs fall within expected level.
• Assist with budget development, cost analysis and monthly revenue forecasting.
• Direct all personnel issues including disciplinary action, performance reviews and administrative duties of onboarding new employees.
• Identify, train, motivate and supervise all facility personnel. 
• Maintains a high level of quality and safety awareness.
• Any and all other job duties as assigned by Area Division Manager.

 

Qualifications/Requirements: 

 

• High School Education or Equivalent is required.
• 4 Year College degree, preferred.
• Knowledge of NDT processes, preferred.
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of safety requirements for employees required.
• DuPont STOP Safety Program experience, preferred.
• Hazardous Waste Storage experience, preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience, required.
