Position Overview 

  • Schedule – Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm - Flexibility to work additional hours may be required to meet company/project needs.
  • On-Site Requirement: This position requires physical presence at your job location during the scheduled hours. Must be able to reliably commute or be planning to relocate before starting work.
  • Travel Requirements: This position may require frequent travel to various property sites in WA or CA.
  • Compensation Package
    • $90,000 to $90,000 / year*
    • Competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits. Employer pays 85% of employee’s premium.
    • 401k contribution opportunity with an annual company match.
    • Paid sick leave accrual equivalent to 1.33 hours for every 30 hours worked (~11 days per year).
    • Paid vacation starting at three weeks and increasing with tenure.
    • 14 paid holidays, including 2 personal holidays of your choice.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in Construction Management, Property Management, Building Inspection, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property inspection, maintenance management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards, and inspection techniques.
  • Proficient in using inspection software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various property sites.
  • High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
  • Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.
  • Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work.
  • Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Your Role

We are seeking a meticulous and driven Punch Person / Quality Control Specialist to join our team. This position is crucial in ensuring that newly constructed properties are delivered in top condition. The Punch Person will work closely under the Facilities Maintenance Manager to identify, document, and address any issues that could impact the quality of the property.

Quality Control Specialist (New Construction):

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of new properties to identify any issues, defects, or imperfections that require attention. Unit inspections, amenity inspections and building inspections.
  • Follow up on corrective actions to ensure all repairs and touch-ups are completed to the highest standards.
  • Maintain a detailed checklist of inspection points to guarantee consistency and thoroughness.
  • Work independently to manage time effectively and complete inspections without the need for micromanagement.
  • Ensure that properties are ready for a seamless move-in experience for future residents.
