Sims Automatics is offering an exciting opportunity to join our experienced Field Service Team as a Trainee Field Service Engineer. Whether you're just starting out or ready for a new challenge, we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed. Requirements * Strong communication and customer-facing skills * A full UK driving licence is essential * Ideally residing in one of these postcode areas: DD, EH, FK, G, KA, KY, ML, PA * Experience with electrical or electronic equipment is a bonus, but not required * Qualifications in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous About the Role: Working as part of our established 14-person Field Service Team, you'll be responsible for the repair and servicing of gaming, entertainment, and barware equipment at customer sites throughout Scotland. * Average 40 hours per week over an 8-week cycle * Includes alternative weekend shifts * Based from our Glasgow or Dunfermline depots * Company vehicle, tools, uniform, and full training provided Benefits * Starting salary of £28,500, rising to £31,000 * Overtime opportunities and discretionary bonus scheme * Pension and Death in Service benefits * Tool allowance, company vehicle, mobile phone, and uniform * 28 days holiday (including public holidays) If you’re eager to learn, good with people, and ready to roll up your sleeves - we’d love to hear from you.
