This role allows you to provide meaningful, evidence‑based care directly within local schools, eliminating barriers to access and meeting students where they are—academically, socially, and emotionally.

💰 Sign‑On & Retention Bonus

Available for eligible external candidates (amount based on licensure and experience):

  • Master’s Level: $4,000
  • Fully Licensed: $5,000
  • A critical‑need allowance may also apply

Position Overview

You’ll partner closely with families, educators, and community resources to create a strong support network around each student.   • LSW / LPC (IL): $61,000–$64,000

  • LCSW / LCPC (IL): $68,000–$72,000
    (Based on licensure and experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy to students during the school day

  • Maintain an active clinical caseload in alignment with agency standards

  • Deliver prevention and early‑intervention services to reduce barriers to learning

  • Complete clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Utilize evidence‑based interventions with students and families

  • Collaborate with school staff, families, supervisors, and community partners

  • Serve as a liaison between students, schools, and behavioral health services

  • Coordinate referrals to internal and external community resources

  • Respond to crisis situations and provide timely emotional support as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Active or provisional Illinois licensure (LSW, LPC, LCSW, or LCPC)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of DSM‑based diagnostic criteria
  • Knowledge of clinical documentation, caseload management, and compliance standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with students, families, and school personnel
  • Comfortable working independently while engaging in supervision and feedback
