The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all facilities, equipment, and infrastructure used in production operate at maximum efficiency. This includes overseeing total preventative maintenance and managing mechanical, electrical, and robotic equipment breakdowns. The role will lead a team of maintenance engineers and facility professionals to drive reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Main Tasks
Functional Responsibilities

Lead site-wide maintenance activities, delivering both reactive and proactive services across all operational equipment and infrastructure.

Ensure all technical processes are cost-effective, reliable, and compliant with MANN+HUMMEL and regulatory standards.

Drive and implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) processes at the plant level.

Oversee infrastructure projects in collaboration with Corporate Real Estate Management.

Champion continuous improvement and modern manufacturing practices by identifying process gaps and implementing solutions.

Support the development and specification of new production equipment, leveraging insights from maintenance activities.

Define and implement best practices in maintenance operations.

Plan and manage maintenance budgets and resource requirements.

Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, including ISO and IATF.

Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving the plant's carbon footprint.
Leadership Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing team including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and facility managers.

Ensure the department is effectively staffed, organized, and directed.

Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Your Profile
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing plant environment
Skills & Competencies
-
Fluent in English
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP PM
-
Strong leadership and team development abilities
-
Working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001
-
Deep understanding of production equipment maintenance, repair, and process improvement
-
Familiarity with machine safety and HSE standards
-
Hands-on experience applying TPM methodologies
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing

Knowledge of processes such as pleating, plastic injection molding, welding, and assembly

Exposure to Total Quality Management (TQM) principles

Demonstrated success in improving existing production processes
