Eurofins Eaton Analytical is searching for a Senior Scientist (LCMS) to work in Pomona, CA.

Senior Sientist (LCMS Department) responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the
following:

• Performs routine and non-routine analysis of water samples by various written EPA 537.1, 533, 532, 545,331, , PPCPs and Standard Methods procedures, MDLs, PIRs, PTs, etc.
• Performing routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Performs high level review and validation of data.
• Write or revises analytical procedures and/or SOPs, method development..
• Performs PT Evaluations and inter-laboratories evaluation.
• Other general laboratory related duties as assigned
• Will include regular late shift and/or weekend duties.

The ideal candidate would possess:

• LCMS or GCMS experience preferred.
• Excellent math and computer skills
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Excellent attention to details and good organization skills
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment

Qualifications

• Minimum BS degree in chemistry or other related science field.
•  5+ years of GC/LC chromatography experience.
• Must be available to work overtime including weekends
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm or  Wednesday-Sunday, 10 am - 7 pm with flexibility for overtime and weekend coverage as needed.

Compensation range:  $26-$40 (DOE). 

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
