We're ValueBlue, a B2B SaaS scale-up on a mission to enable global organizations to achieve agile digital transformation. Our innovative collaboration platform, BlueDolphin, helps CxOs and Architects plan, design, and manage business transformations with real-time insights that speed up decision-making. Our customers span the globe, from A.S. Watson, Randstad, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Group to Facebook, ABN AMRO, Wakefern Food Corp, and Moss Construction. With a recent B Series investment, we're expanding our reach even further.


In order to support our further growth, we are currently recruiting for a Chief Revenue Officer based in our New York office.

ValueBlue has recently secured a series B investment and is rapidly expanding its customer base worldwide with the BlueDolphin platform. Our goal is to become the global market leader in the coming years. As the visionary Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you will play a crucial role in driving the further global scaling of ValueBlue. Your primary responsibility will be to lead our fast-growing company into new heights of success by optimizing our sales organization and uncovering new revenue opportunities.


Overview of our Chief Revenue Officer role

In this role, you will develop and implement a strategic sales plan focused on global scalability. You will effectively communicate sales performance to the board, executives, and stakeholders. As a leader, you will ensure the success and professional development of the sales team. Additionally, you will align the sales, marketing, and customer success functions to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention. By setting strategic objectives, targets, and KPIs for the sales team, you will guide them toward achieving revenue goals and overall business success.


Your role will also involve analyzing SaaS metrics and leveraging data-driven insights to identify revenue opportunities, optimize pricing models, and inform strategic decision-making. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders will be crucial for driving revenue growth and establishing ValueBlue as a market leader. You will continuously evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new revenue streams and expand our business. Providing regular reporting and updates to the executive team and board, you will highlight revenue performance, forecasts, and key growth initiatives.



Some of the responsibilities you'd have:

  • Be part of the executive team reporting to the CEO and partnering with our board
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan focused on global scalability
  • Communicate sales performance to the board, executives, and stakeholders
  • Manage, with direct and indirect reports, sales clusters driving their success
  • Align sales, marketing, and customer success for revenue growth
  • Set strategic objectives, targets, and KPIs for the sales team
  • Analyze SaaS metrics for pricing optimization and decision-making
  • Foster relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Identify new revenue streams and expansion opportunities
  • Provide regular reporting on revenue performance and growth initiatives

Requirements

A strong candidate would fill most of the boxes below:

  • Proven experience leading commercial teams in a complex B2B SaaS environment
  • Previous exposure as a VP of Sales. CCO or CRO
  • Strong understanding of scaling models and SaaS metrics
  • Hands-on sales experience, having worked your way up from the field
  • Data-driven mindset for optimizing sales performance
  • Experience in a fast-paced company with significant growth (200% or more)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with international teams and navigate cultural differences and diverse working environments.
