Senior Patient Registrar- Queens Medical Group - Neurosurgery- Fresh Meadows - Full Time Days

As a Senior Patient Registrar, you will be responsible for a variety of duties, including greeting and registering patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and handling phone calls and messages. You will also assist with pre-operative clearances and maintain strict patient confidentiality.

This is a full time 36.25 hour position Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm schedule, overtime as needed. Schedule may change based on operational needs.

Primary Location is: 61-34 188th Street, Fresh Meadows, NY 11365.

Candidate must be able to travel 2-3 times a week to the following locations:

• 136-56 39th Ave., 2nd Floor, Flushing, NY 11354

• 112-05 Queens Blvd., Suite B, Forest Hills, NY 11375

• 61-34 188th St., Fresh Meadows, NY 11365

• 28-25 Jackson Ave., 2nd Floor, LIC, NY 11101

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience of at least one year working in a surgical practice

• Familiarity with insurance verification.

• Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Record, preferably Epic

• Bilingual in Spanish

Required Qualifications:

• At least one year of clerical experience.

• High School Diploma or GED.
