Gitwit is a venture studio that builds great companies, on repeat. We’ve just closed a new fund and are embarking on our most ambitious chapter yet: launching 15+ companies over the next five years. To support this rapid growth, we’re looking for an ambitious, systems-minded accountant who’s ready to rethink how accounting and finance can work at the speed of innovation.

This isn’t your typical accounting role. You’ll be the operational backbone of a studio building AI-powered ventures and working shoulder to shoulder with data scientists, designers, technologists, and founders. You’ll take extreme ownership of the accounting function, implement modern tools and automations, and design resilient processes that scale as we grow.

What You’ll Do:

• Own full-cycle accounting: AP/AR, month-end close, financial reporting
• Oversee treasury, payroll, and cash flow planning
• Implement process improvements using automation, dashboards, and documentation
• Ensure compliance, internal controls, and clean financial records
• Support operational systems across HR, contracts, and vendors
• Assist with investor reporting and portfolio company financial setups

What We’re Looking For:

• 4–7 years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA a plus
• Comfortable in multi-entity environments
• Strong systems thinker with a track record of process improvements
• Obsessed with accuracy and detail, and always looking for a better, faster way
• Energized by being part of a high-performing team and driving real impact
