About The Team/PositionOur team leads the FP&A activities, including planning, forecasting, and month-end close for the Global Tech Organization. Our team provides support to the Chief Technology Officer and reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Strategy & Global Technology Finance. We are focused on transformational activities to evolve how we work and strive for automation and simplicity to enable digital efficient story telling. Position Summary... What You'll Do...
- Project-manage FP&A activities for Walmart’s Global Technology organization, including opex and capex spend, along with headcount metrics
- Report and present to leaders
- Identify and implement transformational activities and new ways of working using AI, Machine Learning, and other tools.
- Drive digital reporting solutions
- Support the customer-facing finance teams (CFTs) both in the US and India with system needs and challenges
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies
- Support FP&A team with ad-hoc projects
- You peer around corners and are proactive with speed bumps
- You are a good storyteller and can transfer knowledge to our leaders efficiently
- You have an agile work ethic and can pivot where required
- You have experience working in multiple business areas
- You have shown an ability to build relationships and influence without authority
- You are a big picture thinker who can also dive deep, connecting the strategy to the detailed financials and accounting flows

- As permitted by applicable law, provide evidence of full vaccination as defined by CDC guidelines OR secure approval of medical or religious accommodation for the vaccination mandate
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance
- Accounting & controls experience in a large corporate environment, agency, or headquarters, working in a matrixed organization
- Masters in Business Administration
- Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant
- 1 year experience leading and completing cross-functional projects
