What You Will Achieve

Performs lab support activities and participates in basic routine and non-routine testing for QC Raw Materials and Chemistry team to support release of raw materials, in process samples, and lot release samples the in-process support, in a GMP testing environment. Monday to Friday shift. Must be able to work weekends, off-shifts hours, and overtime as required. Must be willing and able to work reliably on a flexible schedule.

How You Will Achieve It 

  • Applying the principles of good manufacturing practices (GMP) on a daily basis.

  • Performing maintenance of QC lab equipment, procedures and systems.

  • Creating and revising standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and other documents as needed.

  • Identifying and participating in continuous improvement projects.

  • Maintain training to current standards and procedures on all assigned curriculums.

  • Fully comply with company health and safety procedures and practices Preparing buffers used for QC Testing.

  • Performing raw material sampling.

  • May require lifting/moving heavy objects.

QUALIFICATIONS

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements) 

  • High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant experience or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • Broad experience with Microsoft Office products.

  • Highly organized with an attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of biological and/or chemical handling.

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements) 

  • 0-2 years of experience working in a GMP laboratory

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Job will include standing, walking, sitting, document review and ability to perform mathematical calculations and complex data analysis.  Occasional lifting may be required. 

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Monday to Friday shift. Evening, weekend, holidays, and/or on-call work may be required.

The salary for this position ranges from $23,62 to $39,36 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company’s policies.
