AT&T is in the process of reinventing the way in which we measure, report, and analyze the performance of our marketing campaigns across the marketing organization. This transformation requires a leader with a proven set of skills for building a practice and demonstrating the value of campaigns to the business through greater ownership and innovation, resulting in improved insights.

Position Overview:

The leader of our Next Generation Campaign Analytics function must have a proven track record standing up and leading teams of analysts and business practitioners. Additionally, the candidate must have experience partnering closely with the business and agency partners to capture requirements and support execution. This role will provide strategic insights and actionable recommendations to optimize marketing effectiveness and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, a deep understanding of cross-channel marketing execution, and record of innovating with hands-on AI experience.

This is a pivotal leadership role where strategic vision, expertise in advanced analytics, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to senior stakeholders are critical.  This is a unique opportunity for a driven and experienced analytics leader to make a profound impact on our organization's marketing effectiveness and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of collaborative and results driven data analysts and campaign specialists that drive actionable insights and continuous improvements across all campaign activities.
  • Hold the marketing organization accountable for using the right data and analytics to support effective decision making and driving results.
  • Connecting data and analytics to demonstrate cross-campaign performance that supports optimization at an initiative-level.
  • Design and implement: 1) comprehensive analytics frameworks/strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, 2) dashboards, reports, and presentations that provide insights into campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, & product teams to: 1) align campaign strategies, analytics, & reporting with business objectives, 2) refine strategies based on data-driven intelligence.
  • Act as a key evangelist for campaign analytics, translating complex data and findings into clear, actionable recommendations that enable senior leadership and cross-functional teams improve campaign ROI, customer acquisition, retention, and overall marketing performance.
  • Drive innovation in campaign performance metrics, analytics tools, and reporting methodologies to ensure best-in-class campaign execution and impact tracking (e.g., embrace AI solutions).
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by establishing and maintaining robust data collection and analysis processes.
  • Govern teams & agency partners to ensure “one standard” for reporting processes & standards.
  • Manage reporting and analytics costs of vendors/partners by establishing a central campaign analytics function within AT&T, inclusive of request intake (e.g., Ad Hoc).
  • Mentor and develop team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles, with a track record of building & leading high performing campaign analytics functions inside large scale companies.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a history of mentoring and developing top talent.
