We are now looking for a Manager / Senior Manager, Group Accounting and ESG Controlling for our Finance function.

 

Kemira Finance function provides accurate and timely information and drives efficiency improvements through best-in-class finance & accounting and planning & controlling services as well as treasury, investor relations, M&A operations and IT. This position will be based in our Head Office in Helsinki, Finland.

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

 

ESG Controlling: 

• Manage external reporting process in accordance with the ESRS and EU taxonomy standards together with sustainability team and other key stakeholders.
• Support annual assurance process.
• Participate to development of data collection with audit trail and concolidation process to increase traceability, efficiency, and reliability.
• Develop ESG reporting tools and participate in the creation of other tools related to sustainability reporting.
• Ensure a smooth transition to CSRD compliant reporting and continue to develop CSRD reporting further 

 

Consolidating IFRS Financials:

• Prepare timely, accurate and compliant consolidated Financial Reporting and relevant analysis for internal and external purposes together with team members
• Develop Group Accounting related tools, processes and practices
• Follow-up IFRS and other relevant regulation

 

What you’ll bring to the team: 

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in external regulated reporting according to IFRS with knowledge and/or experience of sustainability reporting
• Relevant education background e.g. in accounting
• Knowledge in consolidation and disclosure tools expected, working with HFM, Wdesk and SAP S/4HANA is a plus
• Team player attitude with ability to inspire colleagues and foster change and development
• Ability to be precise with numbers and manage deadlines, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting
• Good communication skills
• Fluency in Finnish and English
