Head of International Subsidiaries

We are now looking for our new Head of International Subsidiaries to lead and oversee the operations of our subsidiaries, ensuring they align with our global strategies and objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity if you want to manage sales and drive development on different markets!
More about the role
You will manage four of our in total eight subsidiaries. More specially you will have the Nordics, UK, France, USA, and Australia under your wings.
This role requires strategic leadership to support, guide and govern subsidiaries in organizational structure, budget management, commercial and strategic plans and contribute to the success and growth of the company including the budget responsibility (profit & loss). You enjoy adapting to different markets and to subsidiaries being in different phases.
The position is based at our HQ in Malmö, Sweden and reports to the Global Sales Director. You will have the General Managers in each subsidiary as direct reports. Your subsidiaries employ in total 75 people.
Further about the position:
- Lead and grow TePe’s subsidiary business profitably.
- Ensure that all subsidiary activities comply with global corporate strategies and policies.
- Oversee sales – and financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring optimal use of resources within subsidiaries.
- Provide leadership and necessary support to the subsidiary manager, helping to optimize organizational structure and competences as well as operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Responsible for hiring and developing local General/Country managers, ensuring leadership alignment with company values and strategic goals.
- Participate and lead various international projects.
- Be a part of the CMT – Commercial Management Team with the collective responsibility for our commercial development and the Group Commercial Plan.
- Promote collaboration and synergy among subsidiaries, identifying opportunities for shared resources, best practices, and partnerships.
- Drive organizational change initiatives, ensuring subsidiaries are agile, responsive, and prepared to adapt to evolving market conditions and business challenges.
Required minimum education and experience
- Bachelor´s degree or higher in a business-related discipline.
- +5 years of experience in leading a subsidiary with full P&L and strategic responsibility as well as in a Sales Manager role. Solid experiences from having managed distributors, partners, business areas, or similar can also be a relevant background.
- Experience of working with FMCG, food, medical consumer products (e.g. OTC, Personal Care) as well as consumer products in general.

- Ability to visualize the big picture, set priorities based on long-term objectives, and navigate the subsidiary towards sustainable success.
- Strong understanding of global business operations and strategy implementation.
- Sales driven; target oriented with strong business acumen.
- Capability to analyze sales data and market trends to optimize strategies and drive revenue growth
- Proven track record in leading diverse teams and effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Robust decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Public speaking skills
- Ability to travel ca. 30% of the time
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
