Sr. Technical Architect

Over the past decade, we've shipped over 150 products for clients that include Visa, the United Nations, Wells Fargo, Ernst & Young, and TOMS Shoes. Our founders built a previous agency (Monsoon) that was acquired by Capital One in 2015.
Job Title:    Sr. Technical Architect Job Duties: Kunai Inc. in San Ramon, CA is seeking Senior Technical Architects to develop and design software solutions to enhance application performance and capability. Job responsibilities and duties include: •                Oversee and lead multiple software development projects and teams to develop and design software applications across various platforms.•                Organize the development, testing, and deployment of scalable and secure software solutions for mobile applications.•                Collaborate with product managers, designers, sales professionals, engineers, and others to build out scalable software solutions.•                Propose, implement, and drive software solutions to address critical challenges involving software and hardware interface.•                Guide developers in quickly and efficiently troubleshooting coding issues by documenting, diagraming, and recording all software solutions.•                Train, mentor, and guide software development team members using flowcharts, diagrams, and other computer algorithms.•                Establish best practices and requirements for projects and actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions.•                Plan new client projects and initiatives and assist with building out project scope to ensure quality development and design deliverables.•                Stay abreast of software testing, updates and deployments through centralized document/record keeping system. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Information Technology, or any related field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any related position(s). Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following: •                Microservices, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases•                Front and Backend Tech Stack•                Angular, React, AWS, DevOps•                React Native, Node, Python, Java•                Algorithms, Data Structures•                Cybersecurity, Open-sourced technologies No travel.
