<p><strong>Aker Carbon Capture</strong> is growing, and we are constantly reaching our stated milestones.</p> <p><strong>We serve a range of carbon-emitting industries</strong> including cement, blue hydrogen, bio/waste-to-energy, and gas-to-power. We see a daily growth in our market potential as a rising number of customers look to carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) and our company to solve their emissions challenges.</p> <p>Aker Carbon Capture is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. We have many ongoing projects, from concept studies to large EPC, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials.</p> <p><strong>Are you ready to work with us to realize the enormous potential CCUS has in making a lasting, positive impact on our environment?</strong></p> <p>In response to the recent market surge for ACC’s products and services, we are seeking a <strong>Senior Structural Engineer </strong>to strengthen our team.</p> <p>As our new <strong>Senior Structural Engineer,</strong> you will:</p> <ul> <li>Be responsible for construction and fabrication-friendly structural design,</li> <li>Be responsible for developing ACC structural methods, philosophies, and standard details.</li> <li>Be responsible for handling and solving site queries on CCUS projects.</li> <li>Coordinate and supervise multi-location teams of structural engineers and designers.</li> <li>Coordinate structural scope with other disciplines, customers, fabricators, and installation contractors on CCUS projects.</li> <li>Be responsible for providing input to studies, tendering, sales, and implementing CCUS technology in projects.</li> <li>Contribute to standardization and general effective execution of CCUS projects.</li> <li>Contribute to finding ways to optimize costs while maintaining quality & schedule.</li> </ul> <p><strong>You have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering (or similar) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience from project work. </li> <li>Expertise in ISO, EN, and other international codes and standards about structural design, materials, and fabrication. Multidisciplinary understanding with excellent communication skills </li> <li>Proven performance in a result-oriented project culture, with a genuine drive to optimize the cost curve of industry.
