Diesel Reefer Technician

Miller Truck Leasing is hiring an experienced Diesel Refrigeration (Reefer) Technician to work out of our Brewster, NY shop. Ideal applicants will have an interest in advancing their career and technical knowledge.

Refrigeration Technician Duties:

• Perform general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 refrigeration vehicles
• Diagnose, document, and repair refrigeration equipment following proper warranty procedures.
• ThermoKing experience highly preferable

Requirements

FLEXIBLE ON SCHEDULE: 1st shift or 2nd shift Monday-Friday, 4 "10" hour shifts, etc.

Refrigeration Technician Requirements:

• 3 or more years experience working on a Refrigeration Unit and 608 certification
• Strong diagnostic skills
• Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors
• A valid CDL (Class A or B) or the ability to acquire a Commercial Driver License with the assistance of our trainer
• Hand tools
