Production Planner, Supplies Integration

This position is responsible for the integration between raw material availability and production scheduling. Risk mitigation of supply interruption and minimization of excess raw material inventory as part of the Sales & Operations Planning process

Responsibilities Include:

• Process owner for signally supply requirements to Procurement team.
• Identify and communicate when Safety Stock for Raw Materials is justified and required to support production of key finished goods.
• Integrate ABC sku stratification for finished goods with the ABC classification of Raw Materials.
• Develop processes to ensure system accuracy and is required to bridge the connection between Finished Goods and Raw Material requirements while identifying potential areas of improvement.
• Functional subject matter expert for the continuous improvement of data quality in Arkieva including auditing Raw Material inputs and outputs working with technical experts to enhance the functions understanding of results and metrics
• Continuous improvement: develop, process map, and document instructions for solutions and work processes.
• Develop organizational understanding of the impact of shrink, quality holds on the planning of raw materials
• Back office support for Arkieva applications, ensuring traceability of data flows and issue resolution.
• Issue resolution and RCA for raw material disconnects during runouts and product transitions with the goal of minimizing E&O risk
• Schedules production on assigned lines

 

 

• BS/BA required; preferably in Data Management, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management or Business Management
• Min of 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain environment, data visualization, data mining 
• 3+ years experience in Systems: Microsoft platforms; SAP, Tableau, Oracle ERP experience preferred*Knowledge: 
• WDI supply chain, WMS and scheduling systems and continuous improvement methodologies. Data visualization techniques.
• Written and verbal communication, computer and data mining skills
• Strategic thinking. Detail orientated.
