Job Description

This role is focused on unlocking insights about the company’s performance and driving strategic planning to achieve our growth objectives. This person will touch and see every part of Visa’s revenue model and be a catalyst for building a foundation for business insights across the company.

This role will be responsible for developing and driving a proactive, collaborative partnership between Corporate FP&A and regional and BU FP&A teams to understand and identify trends in revenue performance and opportunities to advance Visa’s overall business and financial strategy.

This is a highly visible role that includes frequent interaction with senior management and other key internal stakeholders. The Senior Director, Corporate Revenue Analysis will have significant experience in leading a global financial team while establishing strong business and financial planning processes, budgeting, developing strategic frameworks, and driving critical financial decisions. The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively interact and influence across a matrix business organizational structure and closely liaison with finance and business teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead the global top-line budgeting and forecasting process, including quantitative analysis around Visa’s key revenue drivers

    • Assess Visa specific business drivers and their corresponding impact on Visa financials

    • Deliver forecast analytics and insights that result in a corporate perspective of the forecast/budget

    • Actively seek opportunities to improve revenue tools and processes

  • Conduct in depth financial analysis in support of quarterly Board of Directors meeting and company earnings

    • Prepare succinct and clear executive presentations that simplify complex topics, often with time sensitive deliverables

    • Become an expert on Visa’s revenue drivers, tools, and processes

    • Work closely with investor relations and external reporting in preparation for earnings

  • Develop partnership with stakeholders throughout organization

  • Lead and coordinate ad hoc revenue analytics requests from company leadership

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to solve problems, manage complex projects, and resolve differences. Be extremely proactive to identify and recommend actions that will improve Visa’s financial insights.

  • Partner with regional CFOs to ensure alignment on root cause analysis for both financial performance and business drivers.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
• 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
• Undergraduate degree required. MBA in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.
• 10+ years of experience with a mix of experiences Finance function or with relevant experience in strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or corporate finance.
• 6+ years’ experience in leading and managing a world class team.
• Extraordinary analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business environment.
• Advanced level of Excel and PowerPoint required.
• Global or multi-national business experience strongly preferred. A deep understanding of the payment’s ecosystem would be a plus.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to create compelling messages to senior executives and external business partners
