We are seeking experienced Sr. Java SQL Developers to join our client’s team in Houston. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact project. The ideal candidates will have strong expertise in Java development and SQL, contributing to critical projects within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Sr. Java SQL Developer- - W2 only. Location – Houston Downtown, 5 days onsiteLong term ContractExperience Level: 8+ years experience)Industry: Oil and Gas Not accepting C2C, OPT, CPT. Key Responsibilities:· Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications.· Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures for efficiency.· Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement scalable applications.· Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues in Java applications and database queries.· Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.· Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of experience in Java Development: Strong experience with Java 8+, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.).
SQL & Database Management: Proficiency in SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning in databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
Experience writing complex SQL and Stored procedures is a MUST
Knowledge of heavy Springboot transactions- MUST
Web Services & APIs: Experience developing RESTful APIs.
Cloud & DevOps: Exposure to AWS, Azure, or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Version Control: Proficiency with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
Performance Optimization: Ability to analyze and optimize Java applications and SQL queries for efficiency.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications:· Experience with microservices architecture.· Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.).· Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).· Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
