DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY
To direct and lead all clinical sales and educational development activities for Quantum Rehab including Stealth Products while creating strategies to assist sales growth throughout all territories
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
•Provide clear direction, leadership and education to the Pride and Quantum Sales Teams to grow business
•Develop and maintain strong presentation skills on all Pride and Quantum-related product lines which include Power Bases, Power Positioning, Electronics, Stealth Products, Accessories, and Seating
•Oversee the education of the Sales teams by creating tools to access non-traditional referral sources
•Work with Quantum Leadership to provide performance feedback about the Inside and Field Sales teams by developing a litmus test for how they compare against the competition
•Outline and present annual plan for large Return on Investment (ROI) educational opportunities across the country in collaboration Quantum Leadership
•Work with the Education team (aka Pride Learning Institute) to oversee the training and development of presentations and materials for the annual activities, and ensure all presenters are properly trained and prepared
•Actively pursue writing opportunities within industry publications and trade journals representing Pride and Quantum
•Work with the Pride and Quantum Leadership teams to provide input as to the effectiveness of the Sales team in each region’s top facilities and referral sources
•Oversee developing the knowledge of our Inside and Field Sales staff to the next level in all product category levels
•Lead and mentor Education and Inside and Field Sales team members to ensure all are effectively working toward Quantum company goals
•Serve as the spokesperson/lead for International Association for Continuing Education & Training (IACET) liaison and ensure compliance is met for all training and development activities while verifying the activities adhere to current company policies/procedures and ANSI (American National Standards Institute)/IACET Standards
•Advise and work closely with Pride and Quantum Leadership Team on areas requiring VA facility development improvement
•Oversee and direct all international Education on behalf of Pride and Quantum
•Staff management and mentorship including documenting and communicating objectives, positively impacting employee morale, motivating team members, conducting performance appraisals, and appropriately addressing individual or group performance issues
•Assign, train, and develop staff based on experience and departmental goals
•Develop goals and objectives, and measure outcomes to ensure goals are met
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Complete the annual C-TPAT Security Training
•Work effectively with all Quantum, Stealth, and Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
REQUIRED SKILLS
•Must be a friendly team player, professional, detail-oriented, and honest
Must have the ability to:
•Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
•Collaborate with other leaders to guide, direct, and motivate staff to achieve and exceed company goals
•Travel approximately 2 weeks per month along with spending 2-3 days at company headquarters every 8-10 weeks (overnight travel 4-6 days per month)
•Lift/Push/Pull up to 50 lbs
Must have:
•Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
•A thorough knowledge of various professional education accreditation bodies and compliance standards as they pertain to industry education standards such as ANSI/IACET
•Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
•Excellent web navigation skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
•Familiarity with complex rehab patients as well as conditions and required fittings knowledge preferred
•Extensive working knowledge of third-party payor and self-funding procedures preferred
•Extensive product knowledge, particularly as it relates to order configuration preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
•At least 3 years of clinical training experience
•At least 5 years of direct, in-person experience with the
