Summer Select Classroom Assistant

Exciting opportunity for summer work in one of our Early Education Centers. This is a seasonal position 15 - 20 hours / week over the summer.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Sunbeam Summer Select Classroom Assistant contributes to the operation of Sunbeam’s early education centers by performing a variety of administrative, office, and early child care related duties. Classroom Assistant (CA) may assist Teachers complete tasks in classroom environment for children aged birth to 4 years.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist in preparing early education center for new school year, including but not limited to creating posters and labels, copying documents, putting together play activities, etc.
• Assist in helping maintain a clean and organized childcare space, including sanitizing toys, equipment, and surfaces.
• Assist with in-classroom activities, as directed, including but not limited to supporting teachers during children nap times.
• Follow all established school policies and procedures regarding childcare responsibilities.

• Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

Currently enrolled in an accredited Oklahoma early child care / education vocational program.
