About this opportunity

Welcome to the FX Systems & Derivatives team. We add value by providing day-to-day support to a range of trading and risk management applications used by Nordea's traders and Middle Office. As the Senior IT Analyst, you’ll play a valuable role by ensuring the stability of the platform, as well as dealing with user inquiries directly on the trading floor and liaising with other team members and developers to keep the system running.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing level 2 application support for our risk and trading application, working on emails and incidents
• Taking part in continuously improving our systems by planning and performing releases, analysing and expanding monitoring, as well as coming up with non-functional requirements for the new products
• Liaising with other infrastructure teams in the bank to resolve issues, cooperating with development teams and various business stakeholders
• This role is based directly on the trading floor in Copenhagen, so you would often answer direct inquiries from traders

Your experience and background: 

• Experience in L2 application support
• Knowledge of containers and container orchestration
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of relational databases and Windows/Linux servers
• Scripting/programming language (e.g. PowerShell, Python)
• Experience working with a trading or market risk application and basic knowledge of business terminology is a very strong plus
