The Senior QA Role

Join the Data Governance & AI team at Qlik as a Senior QA Engineer and help shape the future of cloud-native data governance. Based in Nantes or Suresnes (hybrid), you'll play a key part in ensuring the quality of our next-generation solution. Our mission is to build highly available, fault-tolerant enterprise software that delivers exceptional user value on services that help organizations trust, control, and unlock the full value of their data.

Help shape the future of Data Governance and AI capabilities in Qlik by being part of the design and execution of effective testing strategies using TypeScript, Jest, and Playwright. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Ensure Product Excellence: Drive the quality through robust automation and thoughtful validation. 

• Work with Autonomy and Impact: Take ownership of testing initiatives while collaborating closely with engineers and product owners. 

• Build Scalable Test Solutions: Develop and maintain efficient, end-to-end test frameworks that support rapid, high-confidence delivery. 

• Mentor and Elevate Standards: Share best practices, guide peers, and help raise the overall bar for quality across the team. 

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

• Understand our product and customers use cases to design and implement a test strategy that secure them. 

• Contribute to features refinement to identify test cases and tooling needs at early phase.  

• Design and develop automated tests (API and UI) to allow fast release cycle without compromising on the quality.  

• Ensure our tests can be run in a continuous integration pipeline, from environments provisioning to the test results report  

• Collaborate with other QAs and across teams to deliver best-in-class products, identify issues and test at the right level.

• Technical Expertise: A minimum of 6 years of experience in software development  

• Solid experience with both manual and automated testing (API and UI)   

• Practical Experience on test automation with Java  

• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills to make sound decisions and exercise independent judgment.  

• Ownership, proactive communication and active follow up on raised issues. 

• Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills in English. 

• Experience working in agile, distributed environments. 

• A passion for continuous learning and improving software quality.

France - Hybrid working from our Suresnes Paris office or Nantes
