Position SnapshotRange Energy is seeking an experienced Sr. Supplier Quality and Industrialization Engineer to lead and advance the quality strategy across our supplier network and contract manufacturing partnerships. In this senior role, you will take ownership of end-to-end quality oversight for all incoming parts, materials, and outsourced manufacturing. This role is instrumental in ensuring that our supply chain aligns with the highest standards of quality, reliability, and operational efficiency to meet our production and innovation goals.

Inside the Role

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive supplier quality strategy to achieve consistent, high-quality standards across the supply chain.
  • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to embed quality in all stages of the supply chain and product lifecycle.
  • Establish and oversee supplier qualification, auditing, and risk management processes to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate quality risks within the supplier network, driving proactive quality improvements with a focus on root cause analysis and preventive actions.
  • Serve as the primary quality liaison with contract manufacturing partners, setting clear expectations, conducting regular quality audits, and implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  • Drive a culture of quality within contract manufacturing relationships, including establishing quality metrics, conducting continuous improvement workshops, and managing escalations to resolution.
  • Implement and promote advanced quality methodologies, including Six Sigma, Lean, and Statistical Process Control (SPC), to reduce defects, improve consistency, and enhance supplier capabilities.
  • Facilitate collaboration between suppliers and Range Energy’s engineering, production, and supply chain teams to drive systemic improvements and reduce variability.
  • Lead the creation and continuous refinement of quality data management processes, including supplier performance dashboards, scorecards, and regular performance reviews with key suppliers.
  • Analyze data trends to inform strategic decisions, supporting long-term quality improvements, cost reduction, and enhanced supplier performance.
  • Develop and enforce rigorous quality documentation standards, including inspection plans, control plans, and FMEAs, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on quality regulations and industry best practices to maintain Range Energy’s competitive edge in quality assurance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
