PayPal, Inc. seeks MTS 2, Software Engineer in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Design, develop and deploy reusable reconciliation frameworks to reconcile the cash statements from our vendors with our records and send out automated alerts to PayPal Site Reliability Engineering team for analysis.  Migrate merchants such as Spotify, US Treasury, Amway etc. and the PayPal accounting reconciliation to STM SOR model.  Lead STM products to analyze PayPal Platform architecture.  Identify, analyze and predict bottle necks at earliest to arrive at the best solution and ensure delivery of products with adherence to schedule and budget.  Work with cross functional teams to convert the business requirements into technical design documents for integrating new products in to SOR and EDL.  Conduct business meetings and product workshops with partners and stakeholders to bring attention to STM Development Team’s essential product insights.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered, as a software engineer, or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered, as a software engineer, or a related occupation.

Additional Job Description:

Base salary: $199,534.00-259,600.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
