Department Overview:
Our Audit & Assurance practice continues to experience significant growth, and we are now looking to expand our Asset Management. This position offers exposure to a wide variety of dynamic industries including Funds, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Structured Finance, and Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with clients across local markets as well as major international financial centres.

We are seeking passionate, driven individuals who are self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing the planning, execution, and delivery of audit engagements across a diverse client base.

As part of this growth, we are strengthening our Financial Services Audit team and are now recruiting Audit Seniors to meet the evolving needs of our expanding client portfolio across all of the sectors listed above.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing audit engagements, including risk assessment, audit program development, and fieldwork.

  • Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.

  • Supervise junior audit staff, providing direction, support, and guidance throughout the audit process.

  • Review work completed by team members for accuracy and completeness and provide constructive feedback.

  • Act as a point of contact for clients during audit engagements, addressing their inquiries and providing updates on audit progress.

  • Ensure audit documentation and reports meet firm standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.

  • Support the development and mentoring of junior team members through on-the-job training and coaching.

Skills and Attributes

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience required

  • Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA or similar qualification)

  • Strong technical skills (Irish GAAP, Auditing standards, IFRS)

  • Strong experience in audit engagements

  • Worked with a diverse portfolio of clients

  • Capable of working on your own initiative

  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical assessment
