In this role, you’ll support the design, execution, and improvement of team member recognition programs and incentive initiatives that align with Casey’s values and business goals. This includes managing milestone-based and other recognition programs, ensuring effective administration, communication, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
The Associate Recognition & Compensation Specialist also maintains and administers spot awards and team member incentive bonus programs, validating eligibility, and partnering with payroll for timely payouts. Additionally, the specialist supports core compensation functions such as salary survey participation, job description maintenance, and wage analysis. Through cross-functional collaboration, this role helps foster a culture of appreciation, performance, and engagement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead the strategy, branding, and execution of company wide recognition programs, staying current on trends and identifying innovative ways to celebrate team member achievements. Oversee key events such as the annual tenure banquet and Casey’s Commitment Conference (C3) awards.
- Develop and deliver engaging communications and training resources in partnership with Learning & Development and create tools to support leaders in local and enterprise-wide recognition efforts, including initiatives like Truck Driver and Team Member Appreciation Weeks.
- Administer and help support a variety of incentive bonus programs, validating eligibility, updating bonus related data in ADP and internal bonus tools, and partnering with payroll teams for timely payouts in alignment with program guidelines and business objectives.
- Provide administrative, reporting, and analytical support in the day-to-day operations of compensation programs, including items such as salary budget survey participation, job description maintenance, responding to HR partner, leader, and team member inquiries, and working through team member wage ServiceNow tickets.
- Conduct market pay analysis, wage change projections, and cost assessment for new or modified programs.

Compensation:
Starting pay range: $54,300 - $71,300. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of experience in compensation, human resources, finance, employee recognition, or a similar role.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills required or desire to develop them quickly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with complex data and spreadsheets.<
