• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.45 per Mile with 1420 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay: $12.00 per Stop with 28 Stops per Week
• Hours Per Week: 40.2 hours per week
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Start Time: 6:00 AM Dispatch

• Deliver Solo: IA
• Route: Dedicated Home Daily 
• Tractor Type: Straight Truck (Minimum of 12 months of verifiable box truck driving experience)
• Trailer Type: 20 - 26' Straight Trucks
• Equipment: Pallet Jack and Liftgate
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight: Touch – Auto Parts

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Must have verifiable driving experience (*must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck):
  • 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 
  • 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years' experience within the last 10 years 
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
