Role overview

The role of our technical project manager is to lead delivery of strategic cross-functional initiatives from conception to delivery, through organization, communication, visibility, and accountability. You will play a central role in managing all stakeholders across our product development lifecycle to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of a final product. Our TPMs are technically strong problem solvers who make things happen around them by setting clear goals and inspiring teams to deliver. You will be both strategic and tactical and do what it takes to successfully deliver key programs that have a material impact on the business.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

• Operationalize and execute on key cross-functional programs spanning all engineering, product, design, QA including managing operation reviews, driving efficiencies in capacity governance and launch reviews.

• Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address challenges to keep projects on track.

• Develop, implement, and iterate on program management procedures, frameworks, and metrics to achieve goals with defined success criteria.

• Provide regular status updates and presentations to stakeholders, keeping them informed about project progress and changes. Leverage data and technical knowledge to understand, drive strategic decisions and communicate effectively with technical teams.

Who you are

• Analytically-minded - You have 8+ years experience in a technical project management role that requires data-driven decision-making, ideally in startups. 

• Cross-Functional Coordinator - You’re able to collaborate with product and engineering teams to design, develop, maintain, and iterate on project plans. You effectively partner with others to get things done even without formal authority.

• Highly-Organized - You are able to oversee multiple concurrent projects, can prioritize well and are organized by default.

• User empathy - You have the ability to empathize with customers & users, and communicate, align, and build trust with internal stakeholders

• Clear communicator - You are an excellent writer (memos, slides) and excel at making the complex simple to empower decision-making.

To provide greater transparency we share base salary ranges, which are based on role and level benchmarked against similar stage, high growth companies. Offers are determined based on multiple factors including skills, work experience, and relevant credentials.
