A Day in the Life
This position will lead a small team for Facilities, ensuring facility assets maintain optimal function and performance.This role will be onsite at our San Antonio office
Ensure the day-to-day operations of the facilities or campus, including custodial, life-safety, engineering, site services, and general maintenance, are implemented and carried out in a safe & timely manner
Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion
Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities
Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs
Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department
May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Must Haves
High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of Facilities experience
Nice to Have
Class A Office Building Facilities experience
Bachelor’s or advanced degree
Strong verbal and written communications with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience working with vendors
Facility Manager Certification (CFM)
Working knowledge of maintenance operations, administrative services, contract management, security, janitorial, and grounds maintenance
