Avets is a 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital, dedicated to providing patients, clients, and referring veterinarians with the highest quality emergency and specialty veterinary medical care. We offer a warm, friendly atmosphere where our main goal is to provide compassionate care to our patients and clients as well as offering outstanding customer service.
We are looking to add a full time Veterinary Client Care Coordinator to our team!
Our Veterinary Client Care Coordinators provide the client with their first impression of our practice, where their family and their pets will be assisted by a friendly, smiling, compassionate staff member and are focused on the pet owners’ experience during their visit. We realize the importance of this first impression and are looking for someone who can show our clients compassion, attention, and the highest level of client service. You can be an important part of providing compassionate care for pets and the people who love them in our area!
Schedule:
- Day shifts available.
- 4 ten-hour shifts per week, inclusive of one weekend shifts.
- Some holidays will be included.
- Pay range is $16-17 an hour
- Double time pay on holidays!
- Greet clients and patients upon entry and exit of our facility.
- Assist clients at check in and check out.
- Differentiate cases between specialty or emergency care.
- Take payments for services and assist clients with payment resources as needed.
- Assist with phone calls and scheduling.
- Maintain medical and financial records through our practice management software.
- Communicate with referring veterinary offices and obtain referral information as needed.
- Keeping the waiting area and exam rooms clean and comfortable for our clients and patients.
- Show compassion for animals and their owners, as well as understand and work to alleviate the stress that clients endure while their pets are hospitalized.
- Other duties as needed or assigned.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Enjoy interacting with clients and patients.
- Comfortability working through email, phone and in person.
- Be able to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
- Proficiency with computer entry and modern office technology.
- Have a great attitude!
- Escalated client complaint resolution: 1 year (Preferred)
- Veterinary or human health: 1 year (Preferred)
