How You Will Make An Impact:
- In support of the Implant Network, the incumbent will work strategically across businesses, consolidating requirements, driving the Network’s planning process, and making recommendations to balance the global capacity for existing, new, and transferred products and processes.
- Support the Strategy and PMO functions to develop strategic business plans by driving alignment within and across Networks.
- Play a key role in tactical planning and execution, ensuring success of technology transfers across the Network, capacity leveling and alignment, and healthy levels of critical sub-assemblies.
- Optimize Network design decisions for business continuity and total cost to serve where possible.
- Drive alignment on key inputs related to Network load balancing e.g. transfer planning, regulatory pathways, supply chain cost, business continuity considerations, etc.
- Lead key discussions during the business planning cycle (Strat Plan & AOP), ensuring alignment within and across networks, consolidating inputs from across businesses, manufacturing networks and global sourcing and logistics, to support effective short- and long-range network planning.
- Support Network Strategy, GSC Strategy, and GSC PMO teams, in developing Network level strategic plans, analysis, planning, and execution of technology transfer between sites.
- Develop scenarios to support decision making for Implant Network and GSC.
- Support successful execution of transfers by facilitating effective phase-in and phase-out discussions. This includes, ensuring alignment on timelines, inventory planning, procurement planning, etc.
- Develop and guide the implementation and governance of processes aimed at optimizing inventory levels & capacity allocations, to support critical sub-assemblies availability across the Network.
- Support ad-hoc impact analysis of key transfer events to drive timely and effective decision making, including financial considerations such as cost, inventory, E&O, etc.
- Support the development of cost-to-serve models to optimize Network design decisions.
- Identify and develop key management visualizations & reports to support effective decision making.
- Manage the Network Planning Model across Edwards Global Supply Chain (GSC) in close collaboration with other network leads. This includes process, organizational design guidelines, and governance.
What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of previous related experience in supply chain OR
- Master’s Degree and 10 years of previous related experience in supply chain
- Proven successful project management skills, data visualization and presentation skills.

- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or APICS CPIM
- Proven expertise in MS Office Suite
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent documentation, communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
- Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
- Extensive understanding of Edwards policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain including FDA and ISO laws and regulations
- Ability to transfer essential knowledge and mentor other team members on specialized skills
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and be self-sufficient
- Ability to work across and lead change in matrix management environment
- Other incidental duties
