The Job:

The Finance Commercial Business Partner/FP&A leads financial planning and analysis for the Nordics, reporting to and working closely with the Commercial Business Partner lead. 

The role requires strong analytical skills, ability to communicate financial information effectively, and collaborative approach will be key to enabling informed decision-making and achieving the region’s strategic and financial goals. As part of the ‘One Finance’ approach, the role will support the Commercial Business Partner lead in driving the region’s financial backbone, with a focus on simplifying, digitizing, and standardizing local processes.

The position will have functional management responsibility, as well as being operational.

Your Main Tasks:

• Support the Commercial Business Partner lead, providing forward-looking insights and analysis to aid business decisions.

• Run the planning and forecasting process for the Nordics, ensuring timely and accurate consolidation of inputs from Commercial Business Partners, Supply Chain Finance, and other key stakeholders.

• Maintain and optimize the local financial data model to ensure accurate and consistent reporting.

• Drive revenue growth and profitability by conducting detailed financial analysis, identifying performance gaps, and leading initiatives for improvement.

• Assess pricing strategies, commercial investments, and key business initiatives to optimize financial outcomes and drive long-term value.

• Drive local Finance transformation in partnership with the Commercial Business Partners, building a next-generation finance organization for the region.

• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Commercial Business Partners and Supply Chain Finance, to drive a ‘One Finance’ approach in business collaboration.

Your Experience:

Ideally, you hold a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Furthermore, you have a proven track record of a minimum of 5 years in a similar challenging position, within an FP&A or controller role.  Experience in a shared services environment is a plus. You also have a strong understanding of financial statements, planning, forecasting, and financial modelling techniques.

You have solid experience from stakeholder management.

You are well experienced with planning, forecasting and reporting tools and have very strong Excel skills.Experience of SAP is highly beneficial.
