HR Generalist

Description

We seek a friendly, service-oriented HR Generalist to join our rapidly growing team. You must be personable and have outstanding interpersonal communication skills.

Hours: 8 am - 5 pm (Monday - Friday) Location: On-site, will consider remote for candidates outside of a commutable distance.  

Responsibilities: 

• Onboard/offboard employees, which includes pre-employment background checks, creating logins, and submitting tickets to IT. 
• Verify benefit enrollment and enter payroll deductions and withholdings
• Assign training and confirm completion
• Create logins for new hires
• Send welcome emails for new hires
• Additional marketing-related tasks may be assigned to include introductory emails and shipping gifts to new hires
• A primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HRIS, benefits, and payroll
• Maintain accurate employee records to ensure data integrity within the HRIS (Paylocity)
• Projects and other tasks assigned by senior leadership

Requirements

• Familiarity with Paylocity
• Familiarity with Training Software
• Professional communication skills
• Understanding of benefits, PTO, and basic onboarding requirements, including I-9      documents
• Timecard management
• State tax registration
• Confidentiality and Discretion
• At least 2-3 years of experience
