Position Details:

Engineers who have a mindset where you love to experiment, use your curiosity, and exceed customer expectations.  SAP Process Integration (PI) team members advise and design integrations between SAP and non-SAP applications.  PI team members work with peer SAP teams and E-commerce, partners, and 3rd party vendors to exchange data both asynchronously and synchronously.  Team members provide consultation and analysis of requirements to design solutions that consider alternatives and develop solutions to meet application roadmaps in a reliable, stable, and secure methods. 

You will report to Director, E-commerce Engineering, Middleware Integrations.  You will be in our Lake Forest office, with virtual work option considerations

 

You Will:

• Design solutions where functional and technical requirements call for modern services and payloads to support integrations.
• Provide analysis that articulates options to be considered and that optimize resiliency, stability, performance, and security.
• Perform configuration, message mapping, and associated development for integration purposes.
• Configure file, FTP, SFTP, RFC, HTTPS, and adaptors.
• Provide recommendations to improve existing integrations.
• Provide rotational 24 x 7 production support to resolve any escalated conditions or system downtime.
• Assist the SAP PI team with analysis to SAP S/4 HANA future integrations.
• Have experience with SAP proper and knowledge of SAP integration methods.

 

You Have:

• 3+ years experience as a software engineer in either SAP or EDI applications.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information technology or Engineering related disciplines, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience working with Java, graphical or custom mapping.
• Knowledge and/or experience with SAP Integration Builder / Enterprise Builder.
• Experience with modern payloads (XML, JSON).
• Knowledge and/or experience with security certificate management.
• Familiarity with the SAP Netweaver stack.
• Monitor, alerts, and troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP.
• Bonus:

Exposure or experience with SAP ABAP, Kafka, SAP BTP Integration Suite, S/4 HANA, SAP PO, SQL, SOAP UI.
