About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Software QA Tester to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of our interactive 3D simulations for high school and college-level education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies and a keen understanding of science or engineering principles.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute test plans to identify software issues related to functionality, performance, reliability, and stability.
• Collaborate with development teams to refine software outputs and interact with educational consultants to ensure scientific accuracy and educational value.
• Conduct both manual and automated tests to ensure software functionality meets our high standards.
• Document all testing phases and defects, assist in troubleshooting, and provide detailed feedback for software improvements.
• Ensure that the software meets all specifications and requirements regarding quality and safety.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in educational technology and testing strategies.

Requirements

Skills and Abilities Required

• 2+ years of experience preferred
• Proven experience as a Software QA Tester or similar role.
• Familiarity with QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in testing interactive 3D graphics and user interfaces.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Passion for education and technology.

Minimum Education and Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related scientific field (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Earth and Space Sciences).
