The Raytheon Software Engineering Team is looking for a Principal Engineering Cost Account Manager (CAM) to support our team in Richardson, TX.  As the CAM, you will support a cross-disciplinary team of engineers for this software development program. This is an onsite role based in Richardson ,TX.

What You Will Do

  • Work as the CAM serving a cross-disciplinary team of engineers.  
  • Management of the team’s cost and schedule, including Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance and Earned Value Management (EVMS) techniques.
  • Variance analysis experience.
  • Support ECP efforts as required.
  • Become Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certified within 6 months

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with proposals, estimates, technical documents, or other contract deliverable items.
  • Experience working as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).
  • Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in change management and/or cost estimation.
  • Experience with complex satellite ground systems, particularly command and control functionality.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team.
  • Systems, Test, and/or Software Engineering experience on a large government software development contract.
  • Strong engineering experience.
  • Experience with Satellite Command and Control or Mission Planning and Scheduling Operations.
  • Experience in SE process development and deployment.
  • Experience with complex satellite ground systems, particularly previous deployment of developed systems to ground station operations.
  • Proven written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge and experience with Metrics driven Earned Value.
