Join the Projects Coordination Office (PCO) and become a vital force in shaping the future of cross-business unit collaboration at GE Vernova. In this role, you will:

• Drive Commercial Coordination: Actively contribute to seamless commercial alignment across GEV business units, ensuring synchronized efforts in sales and project execution.
• Enhance Project Coordination: Play a key role in orchestrating integrated project governance, ensuring critical customer projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Gain Versatile Experience: Develop a deep understanding of operations, sales processes, commercial strategies, and project management, equipping you with a robust skill set.
• Implement Standard Systems Approach: Work alongside a dedicated team to deliver a standardized, systems-driven approach to selling and executing complex, integrated GE Vernova technologies.
• Influence Customer Success: Directly impact customer satisfaction and project outcomes by ensuring cohesive, high-quality delivery of GE Vernova’s innovative solutions.

Job Description

Support integrated projects (projects that cross multiple GE Vernova business units) with commercial and technical coordination activities.

Support Day-to-Day PCO Operations:

  • Assist the PCO team in executing daily operations, ensuring alignment with the operations strategy and maintaining process rigor for GEV integrated customer solutions.
  • Utilize strong planning skills to organize tasks, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Employ influencing skills to foster collaboration and drive cross-functional teamwork across various departments.

Drive Continuous Improvement:

  • Actively support PCO’s continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead efforts in process harmonization across GEV business units to ensure consistency and streamlined operations.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Work closely with cross-business functional teams including engineering, sales, product champions, finance, supply chain, and project management.
  • Develop and streamline PCO processes in collaboration with these teams to ensure seamless integration and operation.

Participate in Key Meetings:

  • Attend PCO and GEV BU commercial and sales meetings, contributing insights and taking detailed notes.
  • Follow up on action items and ensure that meeting outcomes are implemented effectively.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in business, engineering, project management
  • Must maintain a minimum 3.0/4.0 or 4.0/5.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding)  

Other Eligibility Requirements

  • Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.

What will make you stand out (Desired Qualifications)

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Interest in sales/commercial leadership, experience in technology, and projects, preferably in the power generation industry
  • Demonstrated leadership experience through either direct or indirect team management
  • Aptitude with analytical tools (ex. Excel, Access and MS Access); specific skills include: data mining, pivot tables, data manipulation
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and team building skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven capability to work well in a matrix environment
  • Clear thinker with an ability to focus on the “critical few” issue/priorities with ability to translate strategy into business objectives
