Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Staffing Manager to join our team in the DMV area. We have opportunities in the Washington, DC area as well as Northern Virginia and Maryland. If you are looking for an opportunity in any of those locations, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversees recruitment, staffing needs, marketing, and trade show events to promote the company
Work closely with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop strategies to attract and retain top talent
Lead event processes to include strategy, development, and implementation for specific areas of interest
Manage the Recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers
Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws and company policies
Supervises and mentors subordinate project staff and may provide guidance and support to lower-level Staffing Managers, Recruiters, and Event Managers.
Receive direction from the Business Operations Director IV
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an IT, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or related field
Five or more (5+) years of related experience
If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required
If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
Prior relevant experience in recruitment, hospitality or marketing
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
The projected compensation range for this position is $110,800-$185,500. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skill
