Job Description

As a Security Professional - Healthcare Desk Patrol in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and patients, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible presence at the front desk. You will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and responding promptly to inquiries or concerns. This position requires the ability to use a computer or tablet for logging activities and communicating with team members. As this is a driving post, a valid driver's license in the job state is required. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a healthcare location.
• Monitor access control at the front desk, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide information related to security-related matters.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including coordinating with healthcare staff and Allied Universal management.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
