Job Summary:
The Department of Radiology at University of Colorado is seeking applicants for a full-time Academic Diagnostic Medical Physicist and faculty member in the Division of Radiological Sciences. The candidate would be joining a team of seven diagnostic and nuclear medicine academic physicists supporting clinical operations at multiple University of Colorado Health hospitals in the Denver metro area and at Children’s Hospital of Colorado. The candidate would be providing clinical support for diagnostic modalities and nuclear medicine.
This is a terrific opportunity to join a highly collaborative division and department at the Anschutz Medical Campus in the Denver metro area. The position also includes teaching, research, and leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Equipment testing for diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine equipment
· Imaging protocol optimization
· Collaboration with physicians and radiologic technologists on clinical quality improvement projects
· Involvement in hospital and University safety and quality committees
· Teaching for our Radiology and Imaging Medical Physics residency programs
Work Location:
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado

All division members hold faculty appointments at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. We collaborate on clinical, teaching, and research projects within the division and the department and throughout the Anschutz Medical Campus.
