Position Description Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of custom software solutions, integrations, and automation tools developed for the company’s revenue operations. This role focuses on testing, quality assurance, and performance evaluation of code and systems. The QE will work closely with the Rev Sys Engineering team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of revenue-driving platforms. - A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant professional experience in software quality assurance, testing, or systems engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar engineering or QA role, preferably in a SaaS or revenue-driven business environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as APEX, JavaScript, SQL, or Python.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integration testing.
- Familiarity with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) and their testing frameworks is a plus.
- Knowledge of integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Zapier, Celigo) and their associated quality standards is beneficial.
- Experience in designing and executing manual and automated test cases for web and enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, such as functional, performance, security, and regression testing.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions to enhance system quality and performance.
- Comfortable working independently on multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in Agile or Kanban environments, collaborating across teams to meet deadlines and milestones.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Capable of creating clear and concise documentation for testing processes, defect tracking, and quality metrics.
