Pay: $152,000 - $205,850
What you will do
The Senior Manager, Workday Technical Product Owner & Solution Lead is responsible for managing day-to-day systems operations, driving company initiatives, and ensuring systems support local or global operations:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical product ownership and solution design for Workday implementation projects as well as run-the-product initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the roadmap and prioritize product features based on business needs
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in Workday solutions to optimize processes and enhance user experience
- Provide thought leadership in Workday best practices and emerging trends in HR technology
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Partner with the Business Product Owner to define strategic vision, goals, and objectives for the Workday Product in alignment with business and technology strategies
- Lead and manage operational steady state work while supporting projects as needed
- Manage a matrixed product squad consisting of product analysts, functional/technical developers, and resources across the HR Digital and operations group
- Prioritize backlog using technical expertise and customer needs to translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for Workday enhancements and updates
- Define and track metrics to measure value generation across product, operations, and team performance
- Accountable for implementation and maintenance of necessary ISRM, Asset management, and other items
- Actively participate and serve as an approver on the change approval board for enhancement requests to Workday while providing technical input such as feasibility, solution approach, etc.
- Help Product Owners prioritize backlogs, manage constraints, and resolve cross-team dependencies; manage demand intake as required
- Interact with other teams and vendors to implement cross-squad tasks and ensure timely delivery; collaborate across Product/Platform Group for clear dependencies and enablers
- Drive decisions on recommended Solutions
