- Manage cross-functional software engineering programs in a matrix organization covering a range of areas.
- Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
- Apply their expertise in information technology and software engineering during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases of technical projects.
- Gather business requirements from key stakeholders and convert them to technical requirements, managing prioritization with the engineering teams.
- Work closely with Meta’s product and engineering teams to define team needs, metrics, and key performance indicators.
- Articulate the technology, requirements, goals and milestones of the team.
- Establish shared goals with product teams across the company to build alignment across multiple cross-functional teams and to build and scale products for Meta.
- Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery.
- Interface with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, and work with engineering teams to define, evaluate, and prioritize program scope and implementation plans.
- Communicate cross-functionally and manage collaboration across multiple engineering teams.
- Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the U.S.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, or a related field and 12 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.Requires 12 months of experience involving the following:
- 1. Technical product/program management
- 2. Coordinating technology programs or products from inception to delivery
- 3. Gathering requirements and defining scope of user experience needs
- 4. Operating autonomously across multiple teams
- 5. Communicating and collaborating with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products
- 6. Establishing work relationships across multidisciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones
- 7. Working with product teams to build and deliver end-to-end customer focused products with technical knowledge of the underlying and technologies
