Internship Finance & CX Data Analytics

The business intelligence and analytics team (BI&A) wants to improve the transparency and quality of the data. This requires an analytical mindset and a curious attitude. You will be part of a team that is crucial to making this project a success. The Analytics team has ambitions to help PostNL in creating a data foundation and the quality of the data ingested is crucial for achieving this objective and improve our logistics. 

As an intern, your main assignment will be researching the datasets that are part of our ingestion pipeline. You will analyze and shape data quality rules to apply. This will require your own research but you will have the support of the business partners. The goal is to generate the right metrics that will help us in measuring the healthiness of our data.
Although you’ll have the support of the team and experienced engineers, this position will require self-initiative and ability to learn. The bases are set for a solid start but you will have the opportunity to bring your ideas and knowledge with you.

 

Furthermore, in this role you will:

• Ensure data quality and integrity across various financial and customer experience datasets.
• Support the team in various data-driven projects and initiatives.
• Utilize tools like Python, PowerBI, and SQL to extract, analyze, and visualize data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven improvements.
• Research datasets within our ingestion pipeline and shape data quality rules.
• Generate metrics to measure the healthiness of our data with support from business partners.
