FanDuel is looking to add a Corporate Compliance Associate to the team. As a Corporate Compliance Associate, you’ll help to operationalize our core programs, including Code of Conduct, Conflicts of Interest, Anti-Bribery and Corruption Compliance, Third Party Due Diligence, Employee Play, Policy and Procedures Governance and Compliance Training and Awareness. 

This role reports to the Corporate Compliance Manager and sits within the Corporate Compliance Strategy & Governance function. The Corporate Compliance Associate will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Compliance team with compliance program build, execution, dispositioning of pre-clearance requests and disclosures, due diligence reviews and screening, monitoring, training, policy development and day-to-day program execution.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of compliance basics, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn quickly in a fast-growing company. They are detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to manage day-to-day tasks with reliability and a strong work ethic.

Successful licensing with state gaming regulators may be required following employment. In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.


THE GAME PLAN

  • Support day-to-day work across Policy Governance, Compliance Training & Awareness and Employee Compliance programs (COI, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Gifts & Hospitality, Charitable Donations, Third-Party Due Diligence, Employee Play, Code of Conduct, E-Communications Surveillance).
  • Draft, revise, and track policies, procedures, reference documents, trainings, and communications—incorporating feedback quickly.
  • Deliver high-quality outputs for review, anticipate next steps, and flag risks or blockers early.
  • Partner with Compliance Operations to operationalize new programs (e.g., VIP, Privacy, electronic communications monitoring) and document clear guides/templates, job aids, etc.
  • Prioritize critical tasks against team goals; maintain clean records and an auditable trail.
  • Identify efficiency gains and help implement process improvements.
  • Adapt to new projects and teammates with minimal onboarding, applying FanDuel Principles in daily work.
  • Pitch in on ad hoc tasks and support teammates to keep work moving.

What we're looking for in our next teammate

•    Minimum of 1+ years of previous experience working within a highly regulated environment: financial or similar (in a compliance function is preferred)
•    Proven process execution and a continuous-improvement mindset
•    Ability to think critically and communicate clearly and efficiently, both orally and written
•    Outstanding ability to manage projects, multi-task, prioritize, work independently and excellent organizational skills
•    An exceptional team player who shows early leadership behaviors and works hard in a fast-paced, scaling environment
