Summary of Objective:

 The Quality Receiving Inspector I supports PCI receiving and shipping operations. This position will focus on the QC inspection of incoming materials inspection activities and QC verification of shipping activities. In addition, the person may assist with document control activities and product lot disposition.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

Selects products for tests at incoming receiving. Tests and inspects products at incoming receiving. May execute shipping protocols, special sampling protocols or shipping/receiving validations. Performs receiving inspections as required. May perform additional inspections and sampling on released material(s). Interprets specifications and formulas to arrive at required quality and reliability standards. Records test data, using statistical quality control procedures. Enters inventory transactions in ERP system. May perform destruction activities related to incoming samples/retains. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor. Performs QC verifications for shipping activities Performs QC verifications for Destruction activities.
